I am going to use my blog to post my current protocol for fighting my GBM as a tool to send people for whom it may assist. I have been reading/researching brain cancer since 2009 after being diagnosed with a low-grade glioma following a grand-Mal seizure. I am not even close to an expert on any subject, and frequently change directions as new information is discovered . So, please, use this as a spring board for your own research, and not as concrete truth. Science is constantly being refined—there are few absolutes.
I began my research with Professor Thomas Seyfried’s videos on YouTube regarding the ketogenic diet for controlling tumor growth, followed by numerous books and medical journals. My cancer journey started when our daughters were ages 8 and 10, and we did not want to add stress to their sweet childhoods, so we opted not to share my diagnoses. Perhaps because we were living as if nothing were up, a part of us truly believed nothing was. I was researching on the side, when I wasn’t teaching the girls, and applying all that I could regarding diet and supplements. We had been vegan for about 15 years prior, and I was well versed in nutrition, but while at the Mayo Clinic, following nearly 6 years of clear scans, my gorgeous neuro-oncologist with a shock of red hued lipstick told me that all that I was doing dietarily was nonsense and would have no affect on the cancer (and she insisted that I must miss cake and bread (which of course I did)) so I lost hope in what I was doing (the ketogenic diet) at the hand of the “expert”, and I threw it all out the window, and directly from there we headed straight to the Minnesota State Fair—the land of fabulous, fun cancer fueling food. Ugh. Such a pity I listened to that beautiful, ignorant blonde. I despise ignorance (and it is rampant). Fast forward a few years of good scans, to two years of skipping scans, all the while continuing to research, and adding supplements: some of which ended up fueling the cancer. Ignorance. I hate it. It turned into a massive grade IV, glioblastoma, so, now I am in the battle for my life and Jane deserves the credit for helping me reclaim my power. My scans have been steady (no growth) for the past 3 months. Thank you from the depths of my heart to Jane and all of her sacrifices for the cancer community—a most unwanted club to be a card carrying member. How I start my day:
Upon waking at 7am., I take 5 fiber pills with two cups of water and wait two hours before consuming my other supplements/drugs per the fiber bottles instructions.
I then head to the bathroom for a warm distilled water enema…this was scary when I first started, but I currently look forward to how I feel afterwards. (I don’t recommend coffee enemas as they are known to raise glutathione levels which if you have a glutamine-driven cancer is not advisable). If you do add this to your regime, make certain you use filtered or distilled water—never tap.
Following my enema I drink a glass of apple cider vinegar water and a glass of lemon water. I skip breakfast, but I do have coffee with MCT oil and grass fed heavy cream for the omega 3’s. It’s my one guilty pleasure. If I learn it’s detrimental, I will cut it! Better to live into old age and sacrifice said morning ritual. (Lion’s Mane powder: 2 g of the powder in my coffee, 1 TB of MCT oil, a 1/4 tsp of cinnamon, and a heavy splash of heavy cream).
At 10am I take my first batch of supplements:
LDN: 4.5 mg
Ginkgo Biloba: 300mgs (from the Beljanski Foundation—golden leaf Ginkgo)
Pao V: 375 Mg
Turkey Tail: 1000mgs
*Pao Pereira & Ginkgo Biloba Golden Leaf are from the Beljanski Foundation. I purchase this from https://www.maisonbeljanski.com. I recommend reading “Winning the War on Cancer,” by Sylvie Beljanski. She has a protocol for brain cancer. It’s pretty simple: take 8 -12 of the Pao Pereira per day and 4-6 of the Golden Gingko Biloba per day. I don’t want to put all my eggs in one basket, so I’m not just doing this protocol. In Jane’s new teaching site, she does mention Pao pereira!
Benagene lozenges: (100mg of Oxaloacetate and 80 mg of Ascorbic Acid)—glutamine blocker
At 11a.m. I take the Garcinia Combogia \\ Hydroxycitrate: 500mg—ACLY & FAS
At 11:30 I start my “breakfast”: I chop 1-2 garlic cloves and let them sit for at least 15 minutes. I mince 1 inch of ginger, 1 inch of turmeric root, add 1/2 – 1 tsp of organic cayenne powder, grind black peppercorns, 1 tsp. of organic canola oil (for omega 3’s—make sure it’s organic), add 1/2 – 1 tsp of Curcumin powder, 5-8 capers, and one egg—wisk it together and fry it in 1-2 TB of grass-fed butter or ghee. I fry it on one side and then flip it and add organic cheese about 1TB and fold it. I then dress my plate with lots of arugula (greens of choice), topped with broccoli spouts, yellow onion, cauliflower, avocado, olive oil, flax oil, coconut aminos, Himalayan pink salt, and more black pepper, and Kite Hill Unsweetend Almond Yogurt—low carb.
While this is happening I have my chia seeds soaking in Almond Kefir (low-carb). I grind 2 TBs of flax to add to this, add 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 6-10 pumpkin seeds, 1/2 tsp sesame seeds, 1/2 tsp. of sunflower seeds, 1/2 tsp. ashwagahnda powder, 1/4 tsp. vanilla, 1 tsp. fish oil, 1 tsp. of hemp seeds, 2 chopped Brazil nuts, 2 chopped pecans, 2 chopped walnuts, a pinch of bee pollen, and 1 tsp. Lilly’s chocolate chips. It’s a fairly bland recipe, but I’m positive there is a way to make it delicious! Let me know if you come up with a creative recipe!!!
Before I eat I make a black chai tea to drink with my meal. (I eat my lunch around noon and my dinner around 5/6pm).
Directly before eating I take:
Chromium picolinate: 1000mcg
For dessert I take the rest of the pills!!
Loratadine : 10mg
Ursolic Acid: 100mg
Milk Thistle: 500mg
Lyph-Spherical Vitamin C: 2000mgs
Indole-3-Carbinol: 200mg (100 mg of Broccoli extract and 5 mg of Bioperine
Cayenne: 450 mg
Boswellia Extract: 250mg
Grape seed extract: 400mg
B-Complex: .5 ml
Vitamin D: 5000 iu
Thymoquinone (Black Seed Oil):
Omega 3 – Fish Oil Elite DHA (Carlson) and Pure Omega-3 (natural force)
To cleanse my palate, I have a bit of Lilly’s Chocolate—another guilty pleasure.
I then clean the kitchen, and either briskly tidy up the house, jump on my rebounder, and or go for a 20 minute walk.
I also meditate 1 – 2 times/day using this app by Sam Harris: https://wakingup.com. It’s an excellent tool and he has fantastic interviews included.
Forty-five minutes prior to my dinner I take:
Garcinia Combogia \\ Hydroxycitrate: 500mg.
Pao Pereira: 3 capsules 125mg each
Gingko Biloba: 1-2 capsules 300mg
ALA: 600 mg
Directly before eating:
Berberine and Metformin
After I complete my meal, I take the rest of the pills minus the aspirin, Mebendazole, Selenomthioniae, Loratadine, and I add the fish oil (as I mix the fish oil into my morning chia/flax “pudding.”
I walk 30 – 60 minutes following my evening meal.

One hour prior to bed I take my CBD oil: 2.5 mg
Directly before bed I take:
THC: 15 mg currently, but I am increasing it slowly every 3 days…
Atorvastatin: 40 mg (just one pill as I was having leg pain)
Dipyridamole: 25mg (I take less than the recommendation because I am concerned about brain bleeds)
“Green” Black Walnut Wormwood Complex: 1.6 ml
Fish oil (Carlson’s Elite DHEA): 1 tsp.
Frankincense oil: just for mental health as I read in “Naturopathic Oncology” that it does not have a proven affect—I put a few drops on my tongue and rub it into the roof of mouth. My husband likes the scent. Bonus!
I’m in the “kill phase,” of Jane’s protocol, so I am doing the IVC currently alongside ALA infusions and multi-pass hyperbaric Ozone therapy.
When I am not in the “kill phase,” I take:
I did take the Doxy and drop the Mebendazole for a month, but am back on the Mebendazole according to the COC protocol.
I don’t take the resveratrol anymore since I am post menopausal. I will look for that data. If you know anything about resveratrol and menopause, please share. And, if you see anything that I may not be taking correctly, please share that too.
